1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website, placing an order, or engaging Lone Pine Technology, LLC (“LPT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for any product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or engage our services.

2. Products & Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. Product availability, pricing, and specifications are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure product listings are accurate, but errors may occur. In the case of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing your order.

Some products on this site are fulfilled and shipped directly by third-party distributors. Availability and shipping timelines may vary by item.

3. Custom & Built-to-Order Items

Custom and built-to-order products are final sale and non-refundable. This includes custom L mounts, U mounts, and any other hardware fabricated or assembled to your specific requirements. By placing an order for a custom item, you acknowledge and agree that the item cannot be returned or refunded except in the case of a manufacturing defect, which must be reported immediately upon receipt with photographic documentation.

4. Payment

We accept all major credit cards. For larger systems or higher-value orders, we may require a bank wire transfer.
We accept checks; however, orders will not ship until the check has cleared.
Rental payments are due in full before the rental term begins.
If you wish to extend a rental, payment for the extension must be received before the current rental term ends.
For service jobs requiring extended travel (overnight stays or similar expenses), a travel deposit may be required prior to scheduling.

5. Returns & Refunds

Returns are subject to our separate Returns & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

All returns require an approved RMA number before any item is shipped back.
Unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Opened returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Custom and built-to-order items are non-refundable.
Rental fees are non-refundable once a rental term has begun.

6. Installation Services

Lone Pine Technology provides Starlink installation, site survey, service call, and related technology services throughout Northwestern Montana. By engaging our installation services, you agree to the following:

Workmanship Warranty: Our Starlink installation labor is warrantied to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years from the date of installation, unless a signed waiver modifies those terms. This warranty covers our work only and does not cover Starlink equipment failures, as we typically do not supply the Starlink hardware.
Cancellations: There is no fee for cancelling a scheduled installation appointment. However, if a travel deposit was collected for an extended-travel job and travel arrangements have already been made, that deposit may be non-refundable.
Site conditions: You are responsible for ensuring reasonable site access and for disclosing any relevant conditions (roof type, obstructions, HOA restrictions, etc.) prior to scheduling. Additional charges may apply for unexpected site conditions discovered during the installation.
Equipment: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, LPT does not supply Starlink equipment. You are responsible for having your Starlink kit available and accessible at the time of installation.

7. Rental Terms

Starlink Standard & Mini Rentals

Rental equipment must be returned in the same condition as provided, with all components.
A $800 damage or non-return fee applies to the Starlink Mini system.
A $500 damage or non-return fee applies to the Starlink Standard system, plus the replacement cost of any mounts or accessories included with the rental.
Rental fees are non-refundable once the rental term has begun.
Damage fees are charged to the payment method on file.

Satellite Phone, Pager & Hotspot Rentals

Satellite phone, pager, and hotspot rentals are fulfilled through a third-party vendor. Deposit requirements, insurance, damage fees, and return policies for those devices are governed by the vendor's terms at the time of rental, which will be provided to you when the rental is arranged. Lone Pine Technology acts as a facilitator for these rentals and is not directly liable for vendor-imposed terms.

8. Website Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access and view materials on this website for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

Copy, reproduce, or distribute content for commercial purposes
Attempt to decompile or reverse-engineer any software on this site
Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
Transfer any materials to another person or mirror them on any other server

9. Intellectual Property & Image Rights

All product images, graphics, logos, text, and other content on this website are the exclusive property of Lone Pine Technology, LLC and are protected by copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of our images for commercial purposes (including resale, eBay listings, or third-party platforms) is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. Any commercial use requires explicit written permission from Lone Pine Technology, LLC.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The materials and services on this website are provided on an “as is” basis. Lone Pine Technology, LLC makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property rights. This does not affect the specific 5-year workmanship warranty described in Section 6 above.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Lone Pine Technology, LLC or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use our products, services, or website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information on this website, but we do not warrant that content is accurate, complete, or current. Prices, specifications, and availability are subject to change without notice.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Flathead County, Montana for resolution of any disputes.
